When Snoopy receives a letter from his original owner Lila, he goes to visit her in the hospital while Charlie Brown and the gang are on the lookout for him. Suddenly, Snoopy feels that he must go live with Lila, but must say goodbye to all his friends. In his adventure to the hospital, he encounters numerous "No Dogs Allowed" signs, an annoying little girl who desires to keep him, and more! Written by Alex Madison

Linus: Happiness lies in our destiny like a cloudless sky before the storms of tomorrow destroy the dreams of yesterday and last week.
Charlie Brown: I think that blanket is doing something to you.
Lucy: Oh, no! Not on Pacific! With hotels?
Schroeder: Pay me twelve hundred and seventy-five dollars, please.
Lucy: Schroeder, Schroeder, how about a beep on the nose?
Schroeder: A what?
Lucy: BEEP. A beep on the nose is a sign of great affection.
Schroeder: I'd rather have the twelve hundred and seventy-five dollars, please. PAY UP!
Charlie Brown: You know what I need? I need more hellos.
Linus: [Linus found out the reason why Snoopy ran away] Are you ready for a shock?
[Charlie Brown faints]
Linus: He wasn't ready for a shock.
[Charlie Brown gets back up]
Linus: How am I supposed to tell you something when you faint like that?
Charlie Brown: I'm sorry; I've been hyperventilating a lot lately...
Linus: [Linus tells Charlie Brown what he found out about Snoopy's past] You're not Snoopy's orginal owner.
[Charlie Brown faints again]
Linus: [rolling his eyes] Oh, good grief!
[Charlie Brown gets back up]
Linus: You bought Snoopy in the month of October, right? According to the records at the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm, Snoopy was bought by another family in August. This family had a little girl named Lila. Snoopy and Lila loved each other very much, but then they moved, and the family decided they just couldn't keep Snoopy so they returned him.
[pause]
Linus: You got a used dog, Charlie Brown.
[Charlie Brown looks shocked... and faints again]
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: [to an unhappy Charlie Brown] Listen, you can't let yourself get into a mood like this. I know you miss Snoopy. I miss him, too. But if you let yourself get into a mood, no one will want to be around you. No one likes a moody person, Chuck. Take it from me: I learned a long time ago that if you go around in a mood feeling sorry for yourself, you do it alone. And I mean *alone*, Chuck.
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: Does your kind ever think about love, Chuck?
Charlie Brown: What do you mean, *my* kind?
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put it that way. No offense. I apologize.
[She holds out her hand]
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: Friends?
[They shake hands]
4c Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt e4b : [swooningly] You touched my hand, Chuck.
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: What do you think love is, Chuck?
Charlie Brown: Well, years ago, my dad owned a black 1934 two-door sedan.
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: What's that got to do with love?
Charlie Brown: Well, this is what he told me: there was this really cute girl, see? She used to go for rides with him in his car. And whenever he'd call for her, he would always hold open the car door for her. After she got in and he had closed the door, he'd walk around the back of the car to the driver's side, but before he could get there, she would reach over and press the button, locking him out. Then she'd just sit there and wrinkle her nose and grin at him. That's what I think love is.
Patricia "Peppermint Patty" Reichardt: [perplexed] Sometimes I wonder about you, Chuck.
