Radio Corporation of America is formed by General Electric Company lawyer Owen D. Young to control the wireless patents of GE, AT&T and Westinghouse and to outflank the companies founded by Guglielmo Marconi. By 1929 it is the greatest growth stock in America peaking at just under $575 a share; but by the end of that year it will lose 77% of its value.
