Jared Leto – 30 Seconds to Mars
Clichéd he may well have become as the hottest man in rock, but after his recent exploits, how could we possibly leave him out? SuperLeto, as he’s been dubbed in the Rock Lifestyle offices, not only gave his full and unwavering support to helping the victims of the Haiti disaster, he also recently managed to extinguish a bomb threat entirely by himself. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we give you not only the most attractive man in rock, but also an all-round top dog and general hero!
Marilyn Manson
He may scare the socks off some of us, but Mr Manson just keeps the ladies coming back for more. Having previously been married to the stunning Dita Von Teese, Manson is currently engaged to actress Evan Rachel Wood, who is equally good looking, and 19 years his junior.
Charlie Simpson – Fightstar
Simpson’s life in rock got off to a slightly dodgy (in our opinion!), although highly successful, start in the pop-rock band, Busted. After quitting the group he went on to form Fightstar, who are now widely regarded as a formidable force in rock music. His boyish good looks and charm have seemed to work perfectly regardless of music genres and audiences however, remaining a firm favourite with fans and onlookers alike.
Ian Watkins – LostProphets
This Welsh joker is well known for having an ego as obvious as his good looks. Watkins has been a firm fan favourite since the early days of Lostprophets, especially at live shows, usually jockeying the crowd into a frenzy before the night is out.
You’d better be prepared to really impress if you want to get with this boyo, however, having previously dated both Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton, he’s certainly been spoilt for choice!
Pete Wentz – Fall out Boy
Yes yes, he may be with pop princess Ashlee Simpson now, but he’s still the poster boy for the emo generation. I’m sure most of us have seen more of Mr Wentz than we probably want (go search google if you don’t know what I’m talking about), but he’s not a bad looking lad at the end of the day.
The phenomenal success of Fall Out Boy is largely down to their catchy and lyrically deep music, but we’re pretty sure that some of the popularity comes from one of their member’s good looks…
Brandon Boyd – Incubus
It seems that the Boyd family name goes hand in hand with music AND good looks. His father, who appears on much of the album artwork for his band, Incubus, looks like a charmer if ever we saw one and is no stranger to the entertainment business either. Brandon’s brother, Jason, was the lead singer of the now defunct rock band Audiovent and got almost as much attention for his looks as for his music. Other famous family members include Brandon’s cousin Robert, who is a talented flamenco guitarist.
Having led his band from funk-rockers through to their current place as tripped out mellowheads, Boyd is a pretty deep guy. He’s a published author too, having put out a couple of titles which compile his artwork, writings and photography.
Matt Heafy – Trivium
With four studio albums, eleven singles, twelve music videos, a signing to Roadrunner Records and having played some of the biggest festivals in the world, Heafy’s band Trivium have been more than successful since their formation. At only 24 years old, success has come quickly for the Japanese born lead singer. Unfortunately for some, Heafy is now well and truly off the market (for a while atleast!) after his marriage to Ashley Howard on 10th January this year.
Steve Forrest – Placebo
New boy on the Placebo front, Forrest has tantalised onlookers at shows for a short while now with his topless drumming antics. We can only imagine that his band mates appreciate the show as much as the fans!
Travis Barker – Blink 182, +44
Always a firm favourite, both for his skills as a drummer and for his ‘just don’t care’ attitude. Travis Barker has been through a lot of bands in his career, varying his style to match the many different sounds of the groups. Barker is currently due to appear on Slash’s solo album, coming later this year.
Jacoby Shaddix – Papa Roach
Weirdly Jacoby Shaddix hasn’t always been a hottie of rock. Like a fine wine he’s matured well, from what can only be described as a bit of a pork pie, into a very good looking young man. For any of you out there who were drooling over Travis Barker’s tattoos, here’s a pretty decent rival for you.
